MAC Graphic Garden Brush Set

A while ago I purchased the Graphic Garden brush set by MAC that is exclusive to Nordstrom stores only. Overall I really like these brushes and I know the SE brushes aren't as good as the regular ones. Even though they're not as good, I think these sets are really good for someone (like me) who is just purchasing MAC brushes for the first time.
$50 for 5 MAC brushes, a makeup bag and a brush bag is a really good deal to me. I also love that they're smaller than the regular size, and it makes it a lot easier to carry them in my purse for touchups if needed. I bought the Shape & Perfect set which includes the 275, 212, 168, 187 and the 194 brushes.

What do you all think about the MAC brush sets?

  1. I got the same brush set and I really like it too. Out of the brushes I do have the 187 as a full size brush. The two are not comparable quality wise (obviously, since one costs almost 5 times as much), but application-wise I don't see much of a difference. Yes, the SE 187 sheds more, has less 'resistance' and isn't as full, but meh, it does the job.
    Enjoy them :)

  2. i think the brush sets are great. i bought the other graphic garden brush set in august. even though they aren't as good quality as the regular brushes they still get the job done well. My set came with the 129 blush brush and i LOVE it! i like that its small so i can carry it around with me. ANd i feel that if i love the brush that much i can go buy the permanent brush this way i know its worth the money - which i will most likely do with the 129 :)
