If you ever get a chance to go to Boston, I suggest you check out Harvard Square in Cambridge. I'm sure you've all heard of Harvard College, but the area its in is a really great place. There's shops (Urban Outfitters, Lush, American Apparel, etc.) and great restaurants, cafes, bars and small coffee shops. The brick streets are also beautiful around Christmas time with all the lights around the city.
Here's some pictures:

After dinner, we stopped into a local coffee/pastry shop for hot chocolate and french macaroons. I've never had them and I know they're smaller than regular ones but I couldn't resist trying! :)

Yum, Macaroons! Mom's BF is Jewish, he doesn't really practice anymore, his daughters do though and so every time a Jewish tradition arises there's usually food involved and Macaroons are served. Delicious.

ReplyDeleteReally cool. I wonder how the macaroon's taste.
