This evening I went to Boston with my boyfriend to grab a bite to eat and do some shopping. I even got him to go to Urban Outfitters (shocking), but overall it was very fun besides the cold, windy weather!

If you ever get a chance to go to Boston, I suggest you check out Harvard Square in Cambridge. I'm sure you've all heard of Harvard College, but the area its in is a really great place. There's shops (Urban Outfitters, Lush, American Apparel, etc.) and great restaurants, cafes, bars and small coffee shops. The brick streets are also beautiful around Christmas time with all the lights around the city.

Here's some pictures:

After dinner, we stopped into a local coffee/pastry shop for hot chocolate and french macaroons. I've never had them and I know they're smaller than regular ones but I couldn't resist trying! :)

  1. Sounds like a cute place :)
I'm like you too, I've never actually had Macaroons :Ovisit me:

  2. Yum, Macaroons! Mom's BF is Jewish, he doesn't really practice anymore, his daughters do though and so every time a Jewish tradition arises there's usually food involved and Macaroons are served. Delicious.

It's beautiful in Boston! Love the pics.

  3. Really cool. I wonder how the macaroon's taste.
